Our junior domestic competitions run from under-8s through to under-18s for both males and females, with eight clubs taking part. Most fixtures are played on Saturdays during the school term, with some games also scheduled on weekday evenings for older age groups.
Our summer season runs through terms 4 and 1, with winter season running through terms 2 and 3.
Junior Domestic Competition Waitlist
To be considered for a spot in one of our clubs please register to our waitlist. Please do not contact clubs directly as they will send you back to the waitlist. When a club contacts you offering you a place in a team, please be aware your name will be removed from the waitlist. We do not take preferences for training or game days, so if you decline the place being offered to you, you will need to re-register to the waitlist.
By placing your child on the waitlist, this does not guarantee them a place in a team, and wait times can be lengthy. Clubs are already at capacity with their teams, so places only become available when another child leaves the competition.
Our competitions are limited to the number of courts we have so it is not an option to register a new team, and most boys’ teams have high numbers. There are currently over 350 kids on the waitlist waiting to be placed into teams.

Regarding Kidsport, discuss with your club who to direct the Kidsport payment to (it is usually your Domestic club).* Your club is not the Willetton Tigers, please see below for more information on the Willetton Tigers.
Everyone registering to a club for the first time will pay the following fees:
- Basketball Australia Game Development (annual – around $6). This fee is paid to Basketball Australia
- Basketball WA Afilliation Membership (includes a level of injury insurance). This fee is paid to Basketball WA.
- Your club’s fees (usually around $130).
- Willetton Basketball’s fee ($200).
